just when you thought i was going to hush....

notice i didnt say shut up- well that's because to me saying that is like saying f-you to someone. But anyway...

more changes are coming up- good changes, but nonetheless it still creates stress and tension. But i am also learning that stress and tension can be good if i learn how to manage them. So, here we go- G and i are making plans to start a business. Looks like this is gonna be a ton of work- but i know that since she knows what she's doing, and i know about running a business, we have a really good chance of making things happen.

im selling the durham house. yes, the one i just moved in to... BUT i'm doing this by choice. i am moving into the guest house at G's farm, and it is being worked on for me just about as we speak. So, the garden, the long driveway, the woods, heck even the chickens and soon to own cows will be a part of what i call "home". The neat thing is that this is the kind of home i used to dream of when i was younger. i mean, i get to help plan and grow a garden- that is so exciting to me. city chick huh? oh well, it makes me happy, so even if y'all think i'm odd, well, i am odd, but so what??!! :)

Right now G is cooking dinner, and i just back from doing errands and such. How cool is it that i get to eat homecooked meals just about everynight of the week? You know, it's prolly dumb, but since i grew up in a "order-in" household, the more homecooked meals i get, the more i appreciate them- the more i enjoy them and relish in the notion that there truly are people who get this their whole lives.

i used to think that being a subbie meant giving and giving and giving and that a Dominant's job was to take what i gave, and then demand that which i neglected to give. Did you know that is allllllll wrong???? D/s relationships are all about mutual giving and taking- there are different things that are given and taken, but the more equal it is, the more satisfying and fulfilling the relationship is. Kinda frightening that i am only just beginning to understand this since i have been in the scene for so long- but ya know what??? i'm glad i understand it now, and not 10 years from now.
