what a great night

Tonight my mom and i went to see Bernadette Peters in concert. We were sitting in the second row, about 5 feet from the stage. We were practically in her lap. The show was wonderful, but alot of tears were shed. Her husband passed away unexpectedly 4 weeks ago and there were alot emotions that went into everthing she sang. I had the great opportunity to meet him a few times, and he truly was a wonderful person. They were so much in love and it's hard to imagine what she is going through. But she gave this concert in honor of his memory, and her performance certainly did that. She honored him with every note that came forward.

If you ever have a chance to see her in concert- you should. It's worth it.
