effin demon

i tell you what- every time i start fighting this mother fuckin demon, he fights me back harder. it's almost like he waits for me to think that just maybe i'm getting a little bit of a handle on things, and then whammm-o - the fucker pops back up stronger than ever.

i made a doctor's appt today and went today and my happy pill dosage got bumped up. i took the new dosage, and this fuckin demon is like rejecting it. it's like he is saying "no way am i gonna let you take a stronger dose without fucking with your head!" so, the past few hours, i have been battling within really really hard. i am trying to fight the urges to beat myself up, to be self-destructive...so far, so good...but i dont know just how much more fight i have inside me tonight. i have to keep telling myself that i am a good person, that i am good subbie, that G loves me, that she is proud of me, that she thinks i am worth this fight so that i can believe that too- and im running out of energy to be able to keep telling myself those things. i'm trying so hard to fight and keep this in check, and i feel like i am slipping down a cliff with no safety rope.

BUT i have a safety rope. i have to keep telling myself that G will never ever let me slide off this cliff. and i am telling myself this over and over, and it's kinda workin kinda not. it's almost like i picture myself holding on to her hand and she is helping to pull me up, and just as i start to feel safe again, it's like something is prying my hand off of hers, and i start sliding down the cliff again. so then i start picturing myself with an added rope around my waist- you know like the harness kind- and so that even if our grip slips, i still cant go anywhere...and then, just as i start to find some comfort in that, the fuckin rope starts to fray and break. it's like no matter how hard i try and fight, the fucker keeps getting in there. i'm running out of ideas how to find strength...i'm so tired from this battle- i'm emotionally spent, i am so sad right now and i want to cry, but i can't figure out if the tears are for me or for the mother-fuckin demon. and until i can figure out who the tears are for, i cant let them go. if they are for me, it will be clensing, if they are for my struggle with him, it is him winning a battle, and he cant have that- i wont give it to him...only now, the question is, how do i figure out who the tears are for???

i wont allow myself to brat G or become a pain in the ass to her because the demon has me feeling so beat. i wont give in to the easy route- i wont allow that fucker to make me something im not. my heart is good. my love for G as my Domme is pure. i wont let him fuck with that simply because he feels threatened because i am trying to stop him in my life. the question is, right now i am feeling so vulnerable and scared and weak, how do i fight this battle and win it?????

  • Did you ever happen to think that maybe this demon is the devil and that if you talked to God...realllly talked to God openly and honestly about it instead of blogging that maybe things would change and it would help you to get better?

  • Anonymous - what a self riteous jerk!
    Did I mention shallow?

See, her demon works through people like you to try and bring her down. I wish I lived near so I could have she and mscardea for guidance. It is proactive this concept. It's awe inspiring that she has isolated, labeled, and is kicking the ass of this DEMON she speaks of. I think everyone has this demon. Mine tells me that I am a horrible mother and I will always struggle with everything because I am shit. Not anymore. It's all lies. **draws my sword for battle** and yes anonymous...I'll be talking to the God of my understanding to help guild me.

  • wow- i never realized my little blog could become a place for religious discussion...so, here is my take on things:

i talk to God regularly. He and i have a very very good relationship. i truly believe that the devil is at work everywhere, including my life. i also know that when i am closer to God, the devil strikes out in any way he can. i do believe that this inner demon is related to satan, and that satan will use my inner demon to force me to question my self and my relationship with God. But, here's the kicker- because i know what is going on, when i feel like i'm being attacked, i turn to God. i ask Him for strength and guidance.

i also use this blog as a way to sort out my feelings and thoughts. sometimes it's hard to make sense of the jumble going through my head, and writing things out helps alot. it also is very hepful when others read my blogs and post helpful comments or notes of encouragement- like a support group. this blog is not my only outlet, but it is more like a journal that i use to help myself get better. people who rely strictly on any kind of journal for any healing process will find that they will fall short.

helaing is rough work. there are good days and bad days. everytime you make some progress, you run the risk of ending up a few steps back. there are people and things that you will discover are helpful in your healing journey, and you learn to recognize them and use them as you need them. there are also things that help you self-destruct (for me, that is cake and other food stuffs) and you learn to recognize that you are having a bad moment, and then you fight like hell with all the tools you have to keep from going there. blogging is a tool. so is talking, praying, spanking, hugs, cudding up with my teddybear, playing with my dog, writing a story, or allowing myself to get lost in a movie or good book. there is a time and place for everything- the trick is knowing yourself well enough to understand what is going on inside so you can grow in the positive and fight the negative.

im not willing to allow myself to think that 34 years of fine-tuning my ability to self-destruct (whether by my own inner demon or by outside forces at work) will just go away overnight simply because i have called it a name. No, i know how this works. it takes time. it's a battle i will fight for the rest of my life- like any addiction. living in hellish turmoil has become a way of life for me, and it's difficult to function without it, so i know that when i have garbage starting to brew inside, it is a warning that i am resorting to a pattern of self-destructiveness that i need to stop. in time the occurences will lessen, and i know that. for now, it is a daily, almost hourly, battle that i will continue to fight for as long as it takes for me to win.

You know, comments like this make me laugh, part amusement, mostly in disgust.

Comments such as this also make me believe that God really has moved onto other projects -- and why the hell wouldn't She? As if the bloody Great Flood couldn't drown out all the idiots...

Thoughts and actions like this are an affront to any genuine Judeo-Christian teaching -- and is quite sad in its obvious limitation of whatever God this blighted person follows. Do they really think God is that small?

To the writer of this comment: Shame on you for your pompous, self-righteous, judgmental, hypocritical thought -- God was watching when you thought that shitty little comment, much less wrote it out.

While the writer of this blog is struggling with her *demons*, what are you doing? Kicking her while she is down? When you do something good for the least of creation, or your fellow man/woman, you are doing it for God.

So, I bet God loves this blog. :)

    P.S. What would Jesus Blog?

I bet it would go something like this:

"Man, I had a blast hanging out with Randi today...some jerk wrote some of the most ignorant shit on her blog...went and performed some miracles before going out drinking with Mary Magdelene...she is such a whore when she gets good and drunk...just kidding, I swear..."
